Q. What is "System Release Date"?
The "System Release Date" is the date upon which a system designer decides that a system has been sufficiently tested to warrant being released to the general public for actual trading. It is, therefore, the actual date that the trading system was made available for public use.
More importantly it is the date after which no further changes were made to the system by the system designer. This is important because some unscrupulous system designers continually update their trading systems to look as though they are super profitable when, in fact, they stopped looking profitable from when they were first released and then had to be updated or reoptimized to continue to look profitable because the system could not stand the test time.
At Winning Forex Systems you are guaranteed that no changes or optimizations are made to our systems after the system's release date. This means that after the release date what you see in the performance report for that system from the release date forward is actual, real-time forward performance.
Anyone who is thinking of buying a trading system should very carefully examine the system's performance going forward from the release date and determine whether the system is profitable from that time forward. If the system's release date is not revealed, be very, very suspicious.
